Update a saved filter, don’t just make a new one 🔖

Version 19 June 28, 2026

Saving your favorite task views just got tidier. When you tap Save filter, you can now update one of your existing saved filters instead of always creating a brand new one.

  • Keep Create a new filter selected to save a fresh one, exactly like before.
  • Or pick an existing filter from the new Save to menu to refresh it with whatever filtering and sorting you have on screen — it keeps its name and its place in your Filters menu.

No more piling up near-duplicate filters just to tweak one.

A handy actions menu on every task ☰

Version 18 June 28, 2026

Your task lists just grew a little menu — tap the beside any task and you can act on it right where it sits, no need to open it first.

  • Complete a task (or Reopen it) in one tap.
  • Duplicate a task — brand new! It makes a full copy, carrying over the details, your custom fields, attached files, notes, and who it’s shared with. (Time-tracking entries stay with the original.)
  • Delete a task without leaving the list.

The menu tucks itself away until you need it, so your lists stay clean — and it’s a comfy home for more shortcuts down the road.

Changed your mind? Undelete your tasks ↺

Version 17 June 27, 2026

Deleting a task is no longer the end of the story.

  • Deleting is now undoable. When you delete a task you’ll see an Undo right on the confirmation — one click and it’s back, just like marking a task complete.
  • A safety net for 30 days. Changed your mind later? Head to My Account › Recently Deleted Tasks, where every task you’ve deleted waits for you with a one-click Restore button.
  • You can see the clock ticking. Each deleted task shows how long until it’s removed for good, so nothing disappears as a surprise.
  • Want it gone now? You can also permanently delete a task on the spot — we’ll make very sure you mean it first.

Delete with confidence — your tasks have a way back.

Sort by more than one thing at once ⇵

Version 16 June 27, 2026

Sorting your tasks just got a lot smarter — and you barely have to do anything.

  • Stack your sorts. Want tasks ordered by priority, and then by due date within each priority? Now you can. Order by as many columns as you like.
  • Just click your columns. Click a column heading to sort by it, then click another — the new one leads and the previous one becomes the tie-breaker. Little numbers on the headings show the order. No special mode to turn on.
  • Fine-tune by hand. Open Sort to drag your rules into the perfect order, flip any of them between ascending and descending, or clear them all in one click.
  • Save it for later. Your multi-column sort travels with your saved filters, so a favourite view is always one click away.

Click around — you’ll be multi-sorting before you even notice.

Tighter security & abuse protection 🔒

Version 15 June 27, 2026

We’ve added new safeguards behind the scenes to keep your account — and the service — safe.

  • Smarter abuse protection. MyPlate now automatically slows down suspicious bursts of traffic, so the app stays fast and available for everyone.
  • Hardened sign-in. Repeated failed logins, password-reset requests, and sign-up attempts are now rate-limited to protect your account from automated guessing.

You won’t notice any difference in normal use — this all happens quietly in the background.

Meet the MyPlate API 🚀

Version 14 June 26, 2026

MyPlate now has a REST API, so you can connect it to your own tools and automate the busywork.

  • Your own API keys. Head to API Keys in your account menu to create a personal key. Each key acts as you — it can see and do exactly what you can, including your team tasks.
  • Built on the standards you know. Plain JSON over HTTPS, with a bearer token in the Authorization header.
  • Interactive documentation. Explore every endpoint and copy ready-to-run code in your language of choice — more on that soon.

Whether you live in spreadsheets, scripts, or your company’s own systems, MyPlate can now plug right in.

Put your fields in the perfect order ⇅

Version 13 June 25, 2026

Arranging your custom fields just got a whole lot friendlier. Say goodbye to typing little sort numbers — now you simply drag and drop.

  • Reorder fields by hand. On the Fields page, grab a field by its handle and drag it up or down. The new order saves on its own.
  • Reorder a field’s options too. Editing a field? Drag its options into exactly the order you want them to appear.
  • It just sticks. Your arrangement is remembered automatically — no Save button to hunt for.

Less fiddling with numbers, more arranging things the way that makes sense to you.

Stay ahead of every deadline ⏳

Version 12 June 25, 2026

Your Dashboard now opens with the one thing you don’t want to miss: a Due soon & overdue card that gathers everything coming due — or already past due — into a single, sorted list.

  • Everything in one place. It looks across all your work at once — personal tasks, tasks shared with you, and every team you’re on.
  • The next three days, at a glance. Anything past its due date or due within the next three days shows up, with the most urgent first.
  • Clear at a glance. Each item is tagged Overdue or Due soon, so you always know what needs you right now.

Less hunting, fewer surprises — just open MyPlate and see what’s next.
